Smiles all around!
So the rat bastard finally came and got his crap out of my house. THANK GOD. He was supposed to on Friday, so I took the puppy across the street to the neighbor's basement for the day. He calls like 3 hours after he was supposed to be moving his crap to tell me that his apartment wasn't ready. So my dog was locked in her crate in a strange place for a whole day for NOTHING. Then he proceeds to tell me he misses me and is really sad about this. Whatever, dude. Just come get your stuff, ok?
So then yesterday, MPC and I spent the day shopping and chopping down a tree that fell into his neighbor's yard. He is the sweetest man, and here is why: I've been wanting to own Serendipity for ever. I love that movie--it ALWAYS makes me cry. So we've been on the lookout for it. Yesterday at Wal-Mart, everytime we'd come to a DVD rounder, we'd look for it. Well, we didn't find it, or so I thought. But then right before bed, he pulls it out of one of the bags and gives it to me. Apparently, it appeared on his side of one of the rounders, and he hid it in the cart, and then put some other DVD in front of the others so I would think they just didn't have it.
How sweet is that??? He is great.
