Um, not QUITE as cute as my student who decided to dress up as me for Halloween!!! I love it!

Good and bad
Holy crap. It has been way too long since I've blogged. Do you ever feel like your life is cruising along at top speed and you have to slam on the breaks just so you can catch your breath? That is me right now. I feel like life is getting away from me!!!
So, there is good news and bad news to report. I think I will start with the bad.
1. The rat bastard will not respond to my divorce settlement proposal. He's had it for 2 months, and is letting his family decide. I think they are going to be dragging their feet forever.
2. I may have to sell my house. My taxes got reassessed, and my monthly payment went up by $350. Are you kidding me???? Since I'm new construction, last year's taxes were based on farmland, and this year is actual valued property. So now I'm going to do some creative financing to see if I can stay, but this may be more than I can handle. I'm pretty freaked out.
Now, for the good.
1. I got a package from my super cool SP!!! 
I can't wait to start knitting with this yarn!! The colors are so vibrant!! Thanks, SP!!
2. I met the coolest man ever. He is SO nice to me. He fixed my ceiling lamp, the one that rat bastard tried to install last February, and just left up there not working because he couldn't figure it out. The other morning, I opened my fridge and found a card that he'd left in there for me. He is great. Drawbacks-he has 3 kids. Bonus-I've had 2 of them as students, and I LOVE them both. Its still pretty under wraps, but his high schooler knows about it, and is thrilled to death. Here's the hat I made for her last week- 
3. I finally got to join my sleeves to the body of my fair isle cardigan that I've been working on FOREVER. Looks pretty cool!! I'm a little nervous about starting the fair isle, but I know I can do it!
